This integrated approach to personal well-being strengthens my clients inside and out.  My nutritional and fitness specialties are child and adult weight loss, corporate wellness and athletic performance enhancement. As a former college athlete, I also enjoy training athletes and teaching them how to increase performance on the field through sports nutrition.

Before joining the MTVAC team, Erin focused on combating childhood obesity at Just Fitness, LLC. As her facility's Wellness Director, she worked with entire families on proper nutrition, fitness, and family behavior modification.

My Personal Motto: Life is too short just to survive…you need to THRIVE!

I absolutely love what I do: I help others live happier, healthier lives through fitness and better nutrition! I started as a college athlete playing both softball and volleyball and Iam now an avid runner, an experienced personal trainerand general fitness junkie. I love learning and trying new exercise methods so I can offer you interesting and effective techniques.

I especially cherish the work I do with my Mom’s Fit Club program because I truly believe that if you want to have the most impact in the fight against obesity and the general state of un-health in our country, moms are the key! A mom is typically the one who plans the meals, shops for the food, and also more importantly, the most important role model for the children. If you can help a mom be healthier, you can have a generational ripple effect that is immeasurable!

Interesting Fact: I have my MBA in Finance, a Bachelor of Science International
Business and French, an Associate Arts in Persian Farsi Studies and I am a Defense Language Institute Graduate. I put all this education to work in service to the US Army for 5 years as a Persian Farsi Linguist, before having my two children.

William Vogel, Personal Trainer  A.C.E

Personal Trainer Certified – ACE (American Council on Exercise)
CPR/AED Certification
Currently working on C.S.C.S. from NSCA

Personal Motto: It is not a matter of appearance, but of mentality.  Drive, determination and consistency will get you to achieve the body you desire, and that is what is most important.

Becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach means that I am very keen on sports conditioning for anyone from professional athletes to weekend warriors.  I do a lot of ‘functional’ training involving plyometric jumps and bounding exercises to increase endurance and sports agility, strength and power.  I also do well at training complex lifts with compound movements such as Olympic lifting (Deadlift, Power Cleans, etc.).

Being successful together means that I pay attention to YOUR needs outside of the hour we train together.  Keeping track of workouts you do alone, pointing you in the right direction with respect to nutrition, and understanding that life can always get in the way of training.  The best thing I can do for my clients is to be flexible.  And being able to listen helps, too.

Brenda Simon, Personal Trainer , CPT

AFAA Personal Trainer Certification
AFAA Group Fitness Instructor Certification

By assessing and targeting each client’s personal needs, I help them reach their specific goals.  Each session is specifically designed to work toward their goal.  Also I help clients focus their eating habits by making healthy choices and help them develop lifestyle changes to make fitness a part of their lives outside of the gym.

Clients feel empowered when I tell them that my entire family is overweight and I chose to pursue fitness so that I could maintain health – it is possible and they can do it too!

Interesting Fact: I’ve spent two years cycling around Asia, Africa and Europe.

Additional Certifications:
Balanced Body Pilates Mat & Reformer Certification

My Personal Motto: Train Your Brain, Change Your Body, Transform Your Life!

Whether you’re a stay at home mom, a working dad or an athlete - strength training is essential. Building your strength is the key to weight loss (and weight maintenance), creating lean muscle for that toned look and to achieve any true sports performance.

Clients are amazed to find out that training also gives you strength in your life – it creates confidence, helps with determination, discipline and a positive outlook.

I often have clients say that they don’t want to, ‘get big or bulky’ – I agree!  Strength training isn’t about getting big (unless you want it to be); its about giving you the power to live a better, more healthy life by raising your metabolism and helping you keep up with the everyday physical demands of work, family sports and recreation.

Interesting Fact: My personal experience with obesity gives me
the ability to understand the struggle that many people face when trying to
incorporate fitness habits for life.

My weight loss journey was featured on Body Building.com and my fitness transformation can be seen through my before and after pictures in the article.

I know I can help you too!
